Bradley's Story

My son Brad is writing a delightful story called "Scone the Rat", which he either intends on illustrating, or turing into a graphic novel. I collaborated with him on one of the sketches...what do you think?

Surf

I've started chapter five over at Rabbi Encounters . This splash page took me a lot longer than I usually try to take on this...but I couldn't help myself. Chapter four, while carrying (what I thought was) an important message, wasn't all that challenging (or interesting) to draw. This chapter, however, is just the opposite. I'm stoked!
I'm also stoked that in the process of trying to drop some poundage, I've been working out my quads...which means my left quad is finally being built back up, and for the first time in two years (since my surgery) I'm not hurting with every step I take! I'm expecting to be able to surf this summer! Now I'm just a little embarrassed that the pain could have been gone a long time ago if I'd have just pushed through and exercised. At least I learned some empathy along the way.

Back From Sabbatical-land

Ever since Google took over Blogger in it's conquest of the entire world...logging onto Blogger has become a very difficult challenge for me. I can never seem to remember my gmail account's name...and the password has become case sensetive, and I'm always getting booted.

I feel like an idiot even complaining about it though. Some people had nothing to eat tonight...but I had to try several times to log into my blogging account. *sigh* The things we Americans complain about.

Anyway...I've put up several pages of Rabbi Encounters, and have finally brought chapter 4 to a close. Whew. I'm really excited about starting chapter 5....WOOO HOOO! It's something I've seen in my head for years and years...and it suddenly dawned on me that I could do a Rabbi Encounter strip about it! Fun, fun!
